September 7th is Labor Day.

Sept. 10th (Thursday) is a FALL FORUM at First United Methodist Church in North Vernon, Indiana, 240 West Poplar Street.

September 12th is a STEM program, Explore Beargrass Creek with Watershed Watch. Limited attendance, at the Louisville PLC. Date: Sat., Sept. 12th 9 to 11:00 am EST

Sept. 14th is Rosh Hashanah

Sept. 14th is a Trainer Meeting - council-wide at all locations. A: 6-7 Central = Videoconference, 7-8 Central, Local Meetings. (check first) Attn: Caveland MIGHT have a potluck from 5-6, before the Videoconference. Watch for emails.

Sept. 24th (Thursday) is the FALL FORUM at the Elizabethtown PLC from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. EDT

Sept. 24th is a Gold Award training at the Caveland PLC. Contact Beth Carroll. 

Sept. 25th (Friday) is the new date for the Super Hero Overnighter at Greenwood Mall 8 p.m. - 5 p.m. Cost: 12.00 per girl and $3.00 per adult. Adults who volunteer will be admitted for free, and their girl can come for $8.00. Volunteers are needed. Contact jajohnson@gskentuckiana.org for more information.

Sept. 26th is also the Field  Day Carnival, put on by GS Troop 6, at Camp Shantituck. Contact Susan Botner for a Registration Form at 262-6483 or susanbotner@att.net. Details on the flyer. Deadline to register for this is Sept. 14th.

September 26th is the last day to turn in Training Dates for Spring for GSKYANA trainers.

Sept. 26th is also a Trainer's Retreat Day for all trainers at Camp Pennyroyal for trainers. 

Sept. 26th is also the Bowling Green International Festival.

Oct. 3rd is a Journey Institute in Louisville, It's Your Planet - Love It.

October 6th is the Bowling Green PLC FALL FORUM from 6:30 - 8 p.m. CDT. 

October 7th is a GSUSA Event, Livestreamed from Edith Macy. "Girl Scouts is throwing a party! Girl Scout alumnae and Girl Scouts across the country will join together to celebrate our 2016 National Young Women of Distinction* via a livestream telecast.

October 10th is also the Arts and Adventure Troop Welcome Day and morning recruitment at Camp Houchens. Tentative time is 11-8 p.m. This is for C/S/A Girl Scouts.

October 16-18 is Autumn Adventure Weekend at Camp Shantituck. (Was: Fall Kickoff). Get many trainings this weekend. Contact Sarai Snyder-Gumm at 502-345-7436 or work # 812-280-1400. The signup for this will be on the official Calendar soon.

October 17-18 is also a Leader-Daughter weekend for 01's and 02's and their daughters at Houchens Camp. Contact person is Ginny Pfohl. A flyer is available at the Caveland PLC, and the event may be online soon. The hours are flexible, come for all or part. More info. is on the flyer. Registration deadline is October 9th, firm.

October 23rd is the deadline for the Festival of the Arts event in Louisville.

October 24th is a Juliette Gordon Low Birthday Tea at the Kirby Branch Library. Contact person is Sue Lewis. Time is 1 - 2:30 p.m. There are signups at the Caveland PLC, and should be online soon.

October 24th - Magnut orders are due to troop.

October 26th is the Fall Area 17 Meeting, probably at Houchen's Camp. 

October 26th is also the SU Summit for Southern Indiana.

October 31st (Halloween): is Juliette Low's Birthday, also called Founder's Day. She was born in 1860. Her home in Savannah is known as The Birthplace, and troops can go there on trips to tour it.
